What does it mean to pursue health and wellbeing when intentional weight loss is not your goal?
Join us for a compassionate, community-centered conversation about what it means to deal with abnormal labs, new diagnoses, food, movement, medical trauma, and healthcare as a fat person. Together, we'll explore bodily autonomy, informed consent, self-advocacy, and practical tools for engaging with providers while honoring that every person deserves intentional, accessible, and comprehensive care, regardless of whether weight loss is part of their journey.
This free virtual event centers fat people (especially superfat and infinifat community members) while welcoming healthcare professionals, loved ones, and others committed to supporting weight-inclusive, autonomy-centered care. A recording will be available for all registered participants. Registration is free and the event will be virtual with captions. This is a free event, but you're welcome to share a donation via our current fundraiser.
